Files web UI only shows the first 1000 folder items

Bug Description
This means that if a folder has more than 1000 items in it, I cannot see all items in the folder. The worst part of this, is that the newest items in the folder (it is more likely I am looking for my latest files) are not accessible.
Can we add pagination for folders with more than 1000 items? Another useful thing would be the ability to sort by latest updated items.

Short term work-around:
allow for ± 4000 files to be displayed on one single page.
Ideally:
Pagination where user can set how many files per page
plus options to
• sort Z-A | A-Z
• sort newest first | oldest first
• display size | hide size
