add credit card repeatedly reports "please enter the validation number"

I searched for an album and clicked through to 'checkout'
At the 'select payment' screen, I clicked 'Add Card'
I entered all required fields for an Amex card.
I click continue and it says 'Please enter the validation number' (and also loses the card type and the end date fields). I have tried this 4 times with the same result each time.

Note also (copy bug), the text says 'click Add Card when you have completed the fields' but the button says 'continue'

Reproduced this in Banshee - so not a RB bug as such.

Found this in the help guide:

"Unfortunately we do not accept American Express."

So why is Amex in the drop-down list, and appears as an icon on the payment page?!

Matthew H - Sorry about that. When the store launched, AMEX was not enabled. It should work now. I used it earlier today. I'll update the Help text. Regarding your payment, AMEX has a 4-digit validation number. You're entering it correctly? Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I got it working with a Visa card instead.
I used the last 3 digits of card but if it requires 4 then that is the source of the error - perhaps adjusting the copy in the error text would prevent others like me who might get caught out by the same.
I also allude to another issue where in the case of the error the form loses previously entered values - a minor issue, but somewhat irritating.
