New songs/artists wont show up on u1 player

I have added some musics (around 1gb) to my Music folder and synced with u1.
Those new songs got synced to my secondary computer just fine, but .....
The music library on my u1 music player (ios) wont update, I can't see the new artists (tried on the albums and songs lists also).
Let me know if you need more info

Does this continue past performing the pull-to-refresh on the various views?

might be worth checking the tags on the song, I uploaded a complication album where each track had its artists name but it wouldnt show in the app, when I renamed the artist to "Various" it appeared once the changes had been synced up
