auto-upload not queuing any uploads

Using latest testflight build:

I have a large number of photos that the previously were queued and all uploading when I had it plugged in.
This was slow and the list was slow to refresh in the most recent release build, but it did make progress.

However, with the newest testflight build, I don't see any queued uploads. I've toggled auto-upload a few times but get no indication of activity.

Watching the iPhone logs in XCode while I do this shows no log messages from u1files aside from the following notices for testflight:
