root daemon client code does not handle being disconnected correctly

Bug Description
if the syncdaemon doesn't read events fast enough from the root daemon, the socket send in the root daemon may time out and cause the daemon to consider the connection dead and disconnect.
This should either be changed to wait longer in the daemon, or to notice in syncdaemon, and start a local rescan, then reconnect .
Or both.
