Bug Description

While entering my Ubuntu One account password (which I usually write in a computer where I have a comfortable keyboard and it's pretty complicated) I can't see the whole (and rather lengthy) password. I only got visual feedback char by char, but there's no option to show the whole password to check before sending the information over.

Some say that passwords shouldn't be masked at all (http://www.nngroup.com/articles/stop-password-masking/ ), I wish there was at least an option to display it

Not an UITK bug. Apps can decide whether they want a normal text input field, or a (masked) password.

I added the bug to the ubuntu-system-settings-online-accounts project. I guess that's where it is configured.

There are three different types of input fields in the toolkit. Designers and developers can choose which to implement. Addiitonally there is an option to include a checkbox to show the password. This is already in place for the WiFi password snap attached to this comment. If a password can or can not be shown depends on what level of security is choosen and has to be decided app by app and use-case by use-case. Therefor marking as "Fix released" from UX side because this has to be sorted in the online accounts project.
