Bug Description
On Ubuntu, when adding a directory for sync outside of $HOME, I get an IPCError.
On Windows, I am simply not allowed. This is more important to me: not all my important documents are found in my home directory under C:\Users; in fact, most important files are kept in my data partition E: (for sharing with Ubuntu, say), and "My Documents" points to E:\Documents. It would be nice to sync that on Windows.
