Bug Description
On Ubuntu 12.04:
1. disable networking from system menu
2. start u1 control panel from launcher
3. no error is shown, and:
Some info (ie, my name, storage limit) is just missing in the header.
The "folders" tab looks OK, but the "devices" tab shows an incorrect devices list, with no message saying that it's wrong.
The account info tab apparently tries to do something different because it does give an error, but I'm filing that as a different bug - becaues it seems to poke a different code path than whatever looks up the other info, and we don't handle leaving the error dialog box too well.
