Windows XP. When installing an application, (ubuntuone-2.0.1-windows-installer.exe ), can not access my account. Error: UnicodeDecodeError ascii

Right now there is no workaround you can implement yourself, we're working on fixing this and will release a new version in a week or two.

This bug still exists, as of version 2.0.3.

The current version at https://one.ubuntu.com/download/windows/client is still 2.0.3 - why does the release take so long?
Could anyone perhaps point me to the most current, possibly unstable, windows build?

We had some problems with the release, so we had to delay it. And the team is currently focused on the soon-to-be Ubuntu release.
Sorry about that. As soon as we finish the urgent Ubuntu issues we will get back to fix the problem on windows and release this fix too.

However, we are also working on make it easier to try the client from trunk, so currently it's a little messy.
