Bug Description

Customer reported excessive sync time issues. Log analysis reveals several issues with character translations not being handled by the utf8 codec. Attaching logs. Flagging this as private initially pending certainty that the logs don't present a privacy issue for the customer.

Rick,

the utf8 exceptions are in the syncdaemon log, so I'm re assigning properly.

I got an identical exception thrown by ubuntu one syncdaemon, regarding a music file with a non-utf8 character in it. What led me to find this bug is that I noticed that my ubuntu one nautilus integration was not available, in so far as it did not appear in the nautilus context menu.

I also appeared not to be able to sync some additional files, even via the u1sdtool, so this bug basically appears to crash the client and make ubuntu one more or less unusable.
