Ubuntu One is correctly synchronizing selected files in both directions between two computers running Ubuntu 10.10. When I open Ubuntu One Preferences, Account tab, on one computer it does not display the usage, name, e-mail or current plan. On the other computer all information is shown correctly. On the Devices tab the 2 computers are not shown. They do show correctly on the other computer. The field showing synchronization does work ie displays "Synchronizing" or "Synchronization Complete". When Ubuntu One Preferences is first opened it takes several minutes before I can select a different tab after which tabs are selected immediately. On the Services tab there are no check marks even though files are being synchronized correctly.

I can successfully get my account information using watgui.py on the same computer and account where ubuntuone-preferences fails to do so. Per Chipaca the watgui.py output is fine.
I have installed magicicada. When a file is changed I can see traffic in the upper and lower panes. I don't know what I should be looking for with this program. |
