Bug Description

I think it could be great if Ubuntu One can import one or multiple contacts from a text file, like ldif, csv, txt or vcard.
It would allow users of unsupported mail application (as Thunderbird 3 for the moment) to have a simple way to sync there contacts in the cloud.

Hey sorry for not looking at this sooner. Well we can make plugins for thunderbird contact sync..etc on the desktop as needed or the community can do it with our support. The thing is maybe we shouldn't have a single program that can import all these and sync them to Ubuntu one but the website can have it. Also you can import all different kinds of contact formats in evolution and then sync them to Ubuntu one. Would adding an import contacts to the website do what you are asking in this report?

Thanks
Shane

I would be simply happy if I can sync Thunderbird contact, I don't ask for something else. So now that I have heard a solution is in progress (*), you can consider this request as SOLVE.
