Bug Description

This happens since a few weeks : U1 connects, tells he is synchronizing and then crashes

Thank you for taking the time to submit this bug report and helping to make Ubuntu One better. It looks like you have some file names with non utf-8 characters. There is a script you can run to help you identify the ofending files. If you would like to use run the following commands in the Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal)

wget http://people.ubuntu.com/~duanedesign/utf8-filename-check.py

python utf8-filename-check.py
