U1 applet crashes after manual disconnect

Bug Description
After I had some network connection problems, i clicked on ubuntu applet to manually disconnect. After clicking "disconnect", the applet turned to its arrows-

When I relaunched the applet, it immediately crashed again and gave the same error message through notify-osd. I have now used u1sdtool -d to disconnect and reconnect. It seems happier now.
