Bug Description

I use ubuntu jaunty. I suscribed in PPA and installed ubuntu client. The first time I ran the application, the web browser opened and ask my email and password. Then a new window opened asking for keyring because it sais it was blocked. I typed the password again and again. After that I deleted the keyrings through a terminal. Then it dosen't ask me the keyring key, but it never connected. My shared folder in Ubuntu One folder is blocked, and I can add files. I only can access to ubuntu one through my web browser, but not with the gnome applet.
I hope this contribution can help to improve this system.
Thanks

Hi!

can you please paste the content of the ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf file?

You should have something like this:

nessita@dali:~$ cat ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf
[bandwidth_throttling]
on = False
read_limit = 0
write_limit = 0

If your config has

on = True

Please quit the client through the task bar, change the throttling setting, and start it again. It should work :-)

Let us know if this helps!

Hi,

Thanks you very much for your answer. The content of
.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf is:

[bandwidth_throttling]
read_limit = 0
write_limit = 0
on = True

So I quit the client. I am not sure if I changed the throttling setting,
because I do not know where to find it (maybe in preferences on the client
icon). And unfortunately it does not work at all. I tried it on ubuntu 9.10
at my office and it worked perfectly, but not at home (ubuntu 9.04).
Thanks again
