Ubuntu One doesn't start add computer procedure

I've just upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 (x86).
I followed the procedure but after starting client it doesn't ask to add computer.

I'm using a normal installation with direct connection (no proxy or firewall, i suppose).
I've both firefox3 and 3.5 installed, maybe this informantion can help (?).

I was reading the log and i'm another information.. i'm not using Network Manager (using wicd). Does u1 need it?

I have the same exact problem. U1 never started the "Add machine procedure". I also have uninstalled network-manager, because it had problems with static IP.

Reinstalling network-manager, rebooting and then running Ubuntu One did the trick. After that it gave me the option to add my machine. After adding my machine I was able to remove network-manager and still use Ubuntu One.

Ok.. so.. there is a bug in dependency.. but maybe is better restudying "add procedure" to don't use network manager..
