Bug Description

When I delete a folder of files and replace it with a new folder of files with the same names, it does not look at the datetime stamp of the folder and files and just adds a .u1conflict to the folder. This makes ubuntuone useless to me as I work in VisualStudio using VirtualBox and I constantly copy the project directories to my ubuntuone directory. I keep 2 copies of my project directories, When I copy over a new copy of a project directory I append "_Old" to the folder that exists in the ubuntuone folder. If there is a project directory with "_Old" appended to it I delete it.

Similar problem, different program. I'm using keepnote to organize notes from class and I have its directory synced along with a directory of files which are used in class (mostly pdf and OpenOffice files). I've tried deleting both folders online and out of my Ubuntu One directory, removing U1 and re-installing it, then attempting to sync again 24 hours later. This still converts many of the file names to include .u1conflict. At this point the service is unusable for me.

I think they are different bugs. But as long as it is fixed eventually it
does not matter. Thank you for taking the time to read it.

Bill Payne.
