Bug Description
I am new to Launchpad, so I don't know if this is the right place to suggest features, so if it not I apologize.
I think that it would be useful to create a way for Ubuntu One to be used as a local backup service. Either between two hard drives, or a Desktop PC and a server. A watered down version of the software on the servers could be released and available to download to those who want to use the Client to backup locally as well, but not as default.
I am looking for a good Linux backup for ALL of my files, and it is not really feasible to use online backup for hundreds of gigabytes of media.
Why not use good code already written and tweaked slightly?

Hi Jordan, Thank you for the feature suggestion. We have received this feature request in the past so I'm going mark this one a duplicate of the earlier request so that we track it properly. Thank you, Joshua
