I had very similar errors in the syncdaemon log until I realized that I had to explicitly subscribe to the service at one.ubuntu.com. Having a launchpad account seems to be not sufficient.

Running Ubuntu 904 32 bit i386
This is my 3rd or 4th time re-installing it this weekend, trying to get it to work, and I think this is the farthest I've gotten.
Ive never seen an "add computer" window/button, etc... so, in the instructions, I have issues with steps 4 and 5 on install.
First install was Fri. I uninstalled all ubuntuone packages, and verified sources.list:
# Ubuntu One Backup/Sharing
# sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 4BD0ECAE
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntuone/beta/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntuone/beta/ubuntu jaunty main
(I manually added it, after the ppa-beta didn't seem to load my package information right. the gdebi package installer would say that it was in channel, but I couldnt see it anywhere.
Now, Im getting something different when I log into the website as well - its saying service is temporarily unavailable.
Still no screen to add my pc, and it doesn't seem to connect.

Contents of log files:
oauth-login:
Starting Ubuntu One client version 1.0.1
Starting Ubuntu One client version 1.0.1
