no webpage to add my computer

The add your computer-web-page did not show.

1st my default browser was opera with extended security settings (no script/no cookies/no anyting for unknown sites).
So i used firefox to install the "add ppa" and "install ubuntuone client gnome".
Starting the application/internet/ubuntu one client launches the client but did not start the webpage.

I did not reboot but set my default browser to firefox and
aptitude purge ubuntuone-client-gnome ubuntuone-client

and reinstalled both (ppa and ubuntuone gnome client).

No add my computer-page showed up. This machine is a at least 4 times updated from feisty to gutsy to hardy to jaunty all 64bit.

My 2nd machine with 32bit-intrepid-beta had thunderbird as default browser and got the add machine-page.

I will reboot this machine and see what happens next.

Well, this evening i did a reinstall

aptitude purge ubuntuone-client-gnome ubuntuone-client

cleared all private data in firefox (except history)

went to:
https://one.ubuntu.com/support/installation/

pressed button (ADD PPA...)
and (Install Ubuntu-client-gnome)

logged in and this time i received an invitation for my computer.

bug fixed ?!?
