Bug Description

When ubuntu one first used, it doesn't synchronized all files because I had to turn off computer. After any log in to my computer it asked the password to keyring and started to pretend work. After few minutes it said that all files are up to date(but they weren't). I uninstalled everything, removed my computer from ubuntu one and tried to delete files via the internet(which was unsuccesful). Then I installed everything again, but it didn't give me the choice to add my computer. Now I have installed the ubuntu one software, empty ~/Ubuntu One folder, some data in the internet and no computer connected to my account.

I confirmed this bug. I have three computers (two PCs and one laptop).
At first time I added all three computers to UbuntuOne web site. Later, the synchronization stopped working normally.
I decided to reinstall all ubuntu one clients. I deleted all computers from UbuntuOne.com and reinstalled clients on all computers.
No, it's impossible to add any of my computers to ubuntuone.com.
I can log in to ubuntuone.com, I see all my files in web browser, I can choose a section for seeing all my added PCs, but I can't to add anyone (2 PCs and laptop).

All my PCs are 9.04.
I checked the token for UbuntuOne.com in Applications -> Accessories -> Passwords and Encryption Keys, the Passwords tab
(as in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+bug/363243), but there is no token for it there.

Hi Jana,

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. One thing you'll likely want to try is to remove your Ubuntu One token, which does not get deleted when you uninstall Ubuntu One. You can do this by going to Applications->Accessories->Passwords and Encryption Keys and finding the entry for Ubuntu One token. Delete that token and restart the Ubuntu One client.

Thank you,

Joshua

Hi Joshua,

What should I do if there is no a token for Ubuntu One client in Applications->Accessories->Passwords and Encryption Keys?

Hi Joshua,

I didn't write that in the bug description, but I allready did it. The token didn't appear again(because I was not asked for password).

Hi Jana and Vyacheslav,

My apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you. It is related to continuing support for Python 2.6.2 and we're actively working on a solution. I'm marking this bug as a duplicate so that it gets tracked properly.

Thank you,

Joshua
