Bug Description

Creating a file in a folder that has already been deleted online will directly move it to a .conflict file upon update.

Steps to reproduce:
1 [Local] Create a set of folders: mkdir -p a/b/c/d
2 [Local] Enter the folder: cd a/b/c
3 Wait for sync
4 Go into the web interface
5 [Web] Delete folder "a"
6 Wait for sync (just give it a bit of time)
7 [Local] Create a file, any file will do with or without content: touch new_file

Result: The file is marked as a conflict as soon as it is updated.

Expected result: The path to the file is recreated online and the file is stored as normal. I would expect this because it's a new file, not a file that was there but not yet synced.

ubuntuone-client 1.0.1-0ubuntu1
The web interface is required to have the new delete a folder interface (trash can next to the folder)

I am marking this as a duplicate of bug 462003, since there is an active discussion of such behavior, the fix and the behavior after the fix is applied.
Thanks for the bugreport precisely describing the original issue!
