Bug Description
Well, yall have to excuse me for putting this here but i didnt quite know where to start since this is a Cross-Applicati
-The Send-To Dialogue needs to be integrated with UbuntuOne, the usual behaviour would be, select a file, select Send To from th right-click menu, select e.g. Email, write down a Contact Name and select from the Dropdown selector box. BUT! this will send the file as an attachment to a new email instead of just sending a share-link of a file i already keep online anyways. It would be nice if the Dialogue would recognize synchronized files and offer me to just send a link instead of shooting the whole file through the ether AGAIN.
-Same goes for Pidgin or any other IM File Transfer, which would be esspecially helpful since sending files with any IM Client has always been a PitA, one might even consider giving out an option like "UpShare" which will upload the file to my Cloud and send the associated Link to my Chat Mates (which i just batch-selected ;) all in one.
-The Send-To Dialogue has logical flaws, like f.e. placing "Removable Drive" into the "Send AS" Selector, i dont know about you but i would consider a removable drive a "TO" instead of an "AS" since a Place is not a Person so to speak.
There are quite some more things the SendTo Dialogue would be capable of while making our life easier, especially with UbuntuOne Integration, but im not gonna delve into it too much right now since im pretty sure this isnt the right place to discuss all of this, so please if somebody can point me to more appropiate discussions do so. Best Regards.
Didn't know where to put the following either.
I discovered tonight whilst using Nautilis "Send To"-function to copy a lot of files to my flash memory that error messages are NOT sent to me, as it normally would have been, had I used Ctrl-C -> Ctrl-V (or right click etc etc) instead.
Now I found one directory almost empty on the flash mem. I then retried to copy files using "Send To" but nothing happened; No files were added. Using Ctrl-C Ctrl-V I got a bunch of questions, merge, skip, cancel etc.
I do not trust the "Send To" function and will not use it, until I receive notice that this is fixed.
