Bug Description
On one of my machines, U1 just won't work for some reason. The notification icon shows up as disconnected, with a Connect option shown in the menu (which does nothing). The same menu also says "your files are up to date" (which they're not), and the tooltip for the icon says "Updating your files" (which apparently it isn't).
Two separate issues there, probably: why won't it work, and why can't the icon make up its mind about the client's status?
ProblemType: Bug

UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine Ubuntu package
Looks like I needed to re-add my computer for some reason. After that, there was a brief phase where it incorrectly said it was updating my files, but now it's updating as it probably should be.
I've seen a picture of your state machine, so I understand how hard it is to summarize the state correctly. But the problem I had looks like there may have been a relatively simple omission somewhere.
