I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you. The good news is that we're working on a fix for this issue. In the mean time, can you both let me know if this problem happens all the time or just some of the time when you start up Ubuntu One? Thank you for your patience and help!

Hi!

On on-and-off basis. Also, the client behaves in a very weird way: when I
log in (seldom - I keep my session open all the time...), the client
disappears from the system tray almost immediately. The same happens, if I
start it from the menu.

Though, it may or may not show up in the process listing and in the file
manager. I just tried to upload a pdf, and that went fine (via file
manager).

Hi Joshua

Thanks for a nifty service. It is only a pleasure to contribute towards
perfecting it.

I have not experienced the problem since I did an update yesterday. If I
remember correctly, I also had to kill the ubuntuone-syncdaemon manually
before I could start the client application successfully, but I might be
wrong. Had a ton of things to do yesterday.

The problem seemed to be solved when using the following packages:

Hi Joshua,

My problem with U1 is that there is no way to add a folders worth of
files. As a result, I have not used it much. My original crash was
caused, I believe, by the fact that the original file I put on my web
folder was on my home network, and then during a cleanup it was moved to
a new location.,. After a couple of boots, the crash report came up and
I should probably not have files it. I will look into it again today,
and report back if any bad happens...
