Bug Description
Attempting to open an openoffice spreadsheet from local drive. Ubuntu One reports fatal error in notification icon and document opens as read-only. Document shows read-write properties for creator and user but read-only for others.

Hi David,
Thank you for taking the time to file this bug report. It appears there is an issue related to the filename not being valid UTF-8. We don't support filenames with invalid UTF-8 encoding. We do have a related bug that is aimed at giving users an error message about invalid UTF-8 filenames while ignoring those files for syncing until the names are cleaned up. I'm adding this bug as a duplicate of that one.
