From the OAuth log, it looks like the authentication times out or fails in an interesting way. I'm reassigning this to someone who knows more about it.

Interesting that kernel update is mentioned. I've been thinking a lot of the dbus exceptions with oauth had to do with server performance issues, but perhaps the kernel update is relevant as well.

I am experiencing the same issue:

I updated to kernel 2.6.28-15 and, since this update, Ubuntu One stopped working.
The wheel shows up on login, but shortly afterwards disappears. And I cannot start it manually - it simply will not show up.

I am still quite new to all about Ubuntu (using like a little more than a year now), so if someone can give me some guidance on which logs might be helpful, I will happily provide this information.

Well, I am not sure if it of any help, but if I now start up with kernel 2.6.28-13 (my GRUB offers this to me), Ubuntu One shows the same behaviour as described above. So maybe simply a problem since the last updates for Ubunto One?

Seems I will not be of too much help. Sorry.

I can confirm Sebastian's experience regarding the same fatal error even when booting with an older kernel (in my case, 2.6.28-14) on which Ubuntu One used to run without problems. Perhaps the error appearing after upgrading to 2.6.28-15 was just a coincidence.

Are there any additional log file or other information I can provide that might be of assistance?
