Hello, and thank you for testing Ubuntu One!

Could you do
apport-collect -p ubuntuone-client 404756
immediately after you experience this issue again?

Thank you!

I too, have this problem on the Beta of 9.10 with Ubuntu One. Trying to run the above command provides me with:

Error connecting to Launchpad: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized
You have to allow "Change anything" privileges.
You can reset the credentials by removing the file "~/.cache/apport/launchpad.credentials."

Soooo, what's next? This needs to be addressed.

Okay, the data collection working. Basically, it plain won't connect for me, much less upload anything. So it applies to this bug.

It looks like you're not using NetworkManager to connect to the network/Internet. Fortunately, we have a fix you can try in our beta PPA. If you follow the steps in the following FAQ you should be able to try out this new fix: https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+faq/836

If this does not fix the problem, please report back here and let me know what you are using to connect to the network/Internet.

Thank you,

Joshua
