Bug Description

Putting some new files into the Ubuntu One folder sets the desktop applet spinning, but there is no feedback (except logo stopping spinning?) that the file upload completed successfully? After the wheel stopped spinning, the website didn't auto-refresh, so I didn't get instant feedback whether my new files were indeed available online or not.

Feature suggestion: either optionally do a tooltip/onMouseover box saying "Sync completed, uploaded x files (y Kb) on 2009-07-09 09:08" or something similar + website Web 2.0 magic to ensure it always shows what's actually there?

Hi,

Allowing the user to get better information in this way is definitely in our plans. We're probably going to need to make it selectable, as some users actually want less or no feedback on the desktop.

Changed in ubuntuone-client:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Confirmed
