Bug Description
I got an invitation to UbuntuOne and was very happy to get to try it out.
But got a MAJOR disappointment. Actually to the point where I am thinking about calling people bad names....
I am NOT running Ubuntu, but as the information mentioned that it is for all UbuntuBASED systems, I went ahead (I am on Kubuntu and trying to minimize any Gnome libraries).
I clicked on the button that said Install PPA. No harm, I thought, as I have added many PPA's myself. Guess you guys had a smarter way to do it... Little did I know that this was a complete desinformation!
What I got was a deb package and I happily ran that as I trust you guys (we can not be totally paranoid all the time...). This package only asked if it should install, and then went ahead and installed without any details. After it finished (still without any details) I wanted to check UbuntuOne out, so I looked for the app. But browsing throught my menu, I found that it had added several things that I never asked for, never wanted because I NEVER NEED IT!
Please, send me a list of what this program installed so I can uninstall it and get rid of everything that has to do with UbuntuOne.
I expect an installer to tell me exactly what it is going to install, what extra stuff it will install, what dependencies it will install and then give me the chance to say "No, thank you!".
The ubuntuone-ppa package or the ubuntuone-client package?
