Currently there's no test for sharing a folder from the desktop in the test suite for ubuntuone-client.

Yes. still true. There was no way of automating it due to shortcomings in the CORBA based LDTP suite. LDTP2 has just been released, relying on dbus, and may allow this to be automated.

client test automation is a major focus for this quarter. This should get revisited soon
