Bug Description

We currently change the file icon to indicate that an upload is taking place (arrow pointing into clouds). We should have icons showing if a file has or has not already been uploaded.

Perhaps the client could have a way to display a list of files that are being uploaded and downloaded.

I like this idea. I think I'd only need to know the next few (3?) files on deck to be synchronized. This would help me know that it's working, which file is being worked, and when (roughly) my files will be synchronized in the future.

I use 'Dropbox', which shows each file synchronized with a green arrow (like emblems), files in use or currently synchronizing with a blue "refresh" emblem.
This information is shown on the file itself, but also reported to the folder it belongs too, and also on the tray icon.
maybe it can be a source of inspiration :)
I add a screenshot ...

The code for nautilus emblem support was committed long ago but some bugs prevented emblems from functioning properly. This is now tracked via bug #479475 and its derivatives.

I believe I can mark this bug as Fix Released since the icons are actually present in the package and they are referenced in the code.
