Bug Description

Hello,

I've just got my account activated. Not yet installed the PPA.

When I try to upload a file by the Web interface, there is an error. Impossible to upload a file.

So:
*blank account, nothing yet uploaded
*default configuration (no sharing folders, no other folders than 'My Files')
*try to upload a simple text file (1.4KB): 'references quint.txt'

Error:
'[Errno 28] No space left on device'

Hi Vincent, I really appreciate you reporting this bug, and also
following up to let us know that it is working now.

We probably need better temp space management on the updown server to
more robustly deal with upload spikes.

yes, we could. Also, note that we could be using /mnt/ instead of
/tmp/ to store the updown tempfiles; this would give us about 160GB of
space instead of the 10GB on /. While temp space management would
still be necessary, I think we could do this change quickly and leave
the rest for later. No?

This bug wants repointing at 'ubunet' since it doesn't involve the client software in anyway.
