It takes a more than a few minutes for items added to an Ubuntu One Storage client to appear in the web UI

If I add a directory/file to the "My Files" section of the "Ubuntu One Storage" mount on my client, it takes more than 5 minutes for that item to show up in the Web UI. This is for a trivially small text file.

Additionally, there is no indication, either in the client or the web UI that syncing this data is in progress...

Syncing works much better now. For remaining behaviors, One aspect of this may be resolved soon with the new webUI. Another is in work regarding the client applet.

I think you're working on the client-applet being able to give more feedback about this kind of thing, so I'm handing you the client aspect of this bug report. I'll assign the webUI stuff seperately as a placeholder.

On initial setup, this could be caused by the fact that syncdaemon is downloading all the data in the shares that we set up by default for lp:~canonical members. The applet should be showing the spinning icon already. If this is a request for more specific status beyond that, I think we can mark it a duplicate of bug #330769 no? Thanks.
