Bug Description

Hi,

i'm currently using Ubuntu 12.04 and Ubuntu One.
I'm running U1 on two Linux machines and one Windows machine. I never run two or more of these systems at a time to avoid sync problems.
I experienced multiple times that U1 deletes files for no obvoius reason.
All the files, which were deleted, are completely software managed so i _never_ touched them by hand (a Subversion Projekt Database managed by Eclipse SVN module).
I suspect the Windows client but i am not sure. But a few days ago, the Linux client deleted very important files again after i was running the Windows System (latest U1 Client). I'm sure none of these files where touched in Windows because i wasn't working and i didn't touch any U1 settings. The setup worked for months. The files where from different directories and seemed to be random.
This is not the first time i experience this.
I'm sorry that i havent't got more detailed information...thats all i noticed.

Regards,
Nils

Having a quick look at this the issue, One way I have found to trigger the issue is to add a new folder from U1 to your windows system. I'm not sure if there is some sort of race condition going on, but the folder is added to windows and it's contents are delivery to windows trash which is then replicated everywhere else. I will continue to have a play.

The folders in question were all created on my Ubuntu systems, so I will take some time out to see if it is an Ubuntu → Windows issue and if it is replicated the other way.

Hmm apparently not reliably though. Pictures shared with Windows, sent all my pictures to trash. Sample-movies on the other hand synced with no issues. I'm beginning to think it might be a policy change in Windows an is a conflict with folders that already exist on windows like Picture for example.
