Bind mounted directory not syncing after initial upload

Bug Description

Running ubuntuone-client 3.0.2-0ubuntu1 on 12.04.

I've mounted a directory on another drive into my home directory with e.g. "mount --bind /media/X/Pictures /home/me/pics". I then added /home/me/pics to Ubuntu One. It performed an initial sync uploading the contents of the directory at that time. Unfortunately it is now no longer syncing. I've tried adding files to that directory and they are not uploaded, and likewise have tried uploading files to that directory from the Ubuntu One web interface and they are not downloaded to the local machine. I have tried quitting and restarting the ubuntuone-syncdaemon multiple times and it has not made any difference. I've examined the logs and don't see any error messages or anything.

What else should I do to debug this? It is very frustrating! Of course if you would allow Ubuntu One to support symlinks or add dierctories outside of the home directory, I wouldn't have to jump through all these hoops...

Hackel 2 things:

1/ Can you confirm that you have the sync for that folder setup on that device, ie you are not using it on another device the same way.

2/ Could you provide logs for u1 please, you'll find them in ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log if you can tar that folder and attach it to the bug it would help us greatly. Many thanks.
