Are there any alternatives to your software at this point?

  Thanks

Anyone who can figure out how to convince people to reject tribalism and operate in a completely rational manner probably has a Nobel Peace Prize waiting for them.
  Or a bullet.

I was hoping for something that gave me the option to right-click and
share folders within Dolphin/KDE; I already have the gnome client
installed.

Seems like the option is to use dropbox with kfilebox. Kfilebox is a native client, doesn't force you to install all the gnome bloatware. Too bad, I have even signed to ubuntu one, but will keep using dropbox until there is a native kde client.

Please could someone explain to me why this PPA existed, and was then removed? Did the project die for some reason?

I'd be interested in an answer to this myself.

I've since moved on to using Linux Mint on my home systems, and Ubuntu
One works with that, but I feel there should be a usable solution for
ubuntu users who choose KDE as their desktop solution as well.
I know that there is a dearth of developers in all the projects; and
I'm hardly good enough to contribute anything more than bug reports, but
it would be nice to at least know why this project seems to have been
abandoned.

Thanks,
A
