Unplugging headphones when buffering does not pause playback

Bug Description
My phone is set to pause playback automatically when I unlpugg my headphones. However, if I unplugg my heaphones and the U1 player is buffering because of a bad connection (i.e. in "play" mode but not able to play anything at the moment) it fails to pause and resumes playback (through the phone speaker - ugh) when it has finished buffering.
