Bug Description

I've installed the U1 App and the Subsonci App. The U1 client 'sees' the music stored by the subsonic app on the device. U1 should (optional) use a different storage scheme from Subsonic.

Could you be more specific?
Are you asking for an alternative to the Subsonic-based API for music browsing and streaming? If so, did you have something in mind?

I think this means the locally stored music for each app collides, which is wonderful if you use the offline support, but if you're not expecting one app to remove the other's files when disk space is low, it could be annoying.

I'm not sure this is a bug. Andre, can you make a case for why this is bad? If the music app had access to every song on your device, regardless of its storage location, would that be bad? Why?

Yes, it's about the locally stored music. And yes, it's actually no bug. It's rather a wish (->"optional"). :-) May a an option in the U1 settings can be integrated.

I think I have the same complaint about the caching of the music files. They should be stored in the default Android music folder (i would accept in a subsonic sub-folder). Otherwise users should be able to choose the location of cached music files.
