Bug Description

It should be possible to configure ubuntu one music app cache's path to use the external SD as storage. I'm stuck with 2G of free space on internal SD while I have 30G free on the external card.

Internal SD? I've never heard of that.

The music client does use the SD card to store music, under subsonic/music/ .

In fact some devices have an internal SD card, like the Samsung Galaxy S, and an external slot.

the standard path is /mnt/sdcard/ for the standard SD, internal memory of 8 gb for the SGS, or /mnt/sdcard/external_sd/ for the external memory. (which is a standard mini SD you can add to the device.)

to be clearer, the SGS has 8gb of internal memory mounted in /mnt/sdcard, and mounts the additional memory you add to the device as /mnt/sdcard/external_sd/

would it be hard to implement a different target directory as an option for these specific devices?

Seriously this is my biggest wish :)

I've browsed the code but it seems it would require a serious hack to do.

With tablets having internal storage + External SD, the demand might grow.

I know this is more a feature with than a bug.
