Bug Description

At the moment it is possible to upload only Photos. The users may want to upload various sort of other documents. It should be possible to upload other file types such as PDF too. (Possibly with having a separate configuration screen for target folders for each category (Documents, Pictures, Other?)

Hi rye, thanks for reporting this.

It would be relatively easy to do on... Android 3.0 :< Where MediaStore supports other file formats than pictures, videos and audio. If we were to port this back, we would have to totally change the way we (economically) do things, say, we would have to start rescanning directory tree for new files. It's certainly doable, but somewhat more complex (and possibly battery usage side effects). We shall certainly explore this area.

With 1.2.5 you can upload any files. Sync is on the roadmap to "auto-upload" (read: sync up) any file/dir.
