Bug Description

I use Ubuntu One app on my Samsung Galaxy Y, configured to automatically upload my photos folder. It used to work quite well, but since a few weeks, neither auto- nor manual uploading works. I've checked/played with all options, I'm sure the right folder is considered in the app, login to the cloud works. When I press "upload all files now", nothing happens. I can understand if it's because of bandwidth priority, but if it is so, then I should see at least a list of "pending uploads waiting...", but there is none.

Any idea about why isn't it working ? Thanks for any help !

Here is the corresponding android logcat:

I am also unable to manually upload files from Android. When I click on the + icon and choose a file, nothing happens. No errors, nothing. Automatic photo uploading is still functioning for me, but the lack of manual upload capability severely limits Ubuntu One's usefulness.

I'm using a Nexus 7 running Android 4.4.2, Ubuntu one Files 1.2.8.

OK, since the time I have submitted this bug, I have found another interesting fact: it looks like photos do upload when I press "upload all photos now" if (and only if ?) I have previoulsy activated the "automatic background synchronization of applications"
in android. Well, I'm not sure about that, but it may be the case that the ubuntu one app requires to have background sync
activated. All this is still to be confirmed though.
