Bug Description
When importing contacts from my phone, I expected only the "My Contacts" group to be imported but it also imported contacts I had removed from the My Contacts group (such as Google Wave bots) and also recently contacted emails that I didn't even add as a contact.

Regarding this bug. If you happen to import your gmail contacts and it pulls in contacts that you didn't want and also messes up your gmail contacts in the process, there is a way to revert your gmail contacts so that you're not stuck deleting a hundred unwanted contacts.
Login to your gmail account on a browser. Click "Contacts". Click on the "More actions" dropdown, and choose "Restore contacts". You can restore your contacts to a point before you attempted to sync with Ubuntu One. Once this is done, sync back your contacts on your Android phone.
Now all your contacts are back to normal :-)
