Installer does not change language

Bug Description

I do not speak Chinese and when I selected English as my language and keyboard, the installer remained in Chinese. I was able to do the install from vanilla Ubuntu installation experience and I know what to click even though I cannot read the characters. I believe, the installer should at least contain English for those who wish to use Kylin but are not able to read Chinese.

Weird, I thought in the past I was testing the kylin images with English selected as the language. It's certainly not a blocker for kylin itself for 22.04.1, but I'm curious if I'm only misremembering this or it's really a regression compared to the previous releases.

I just did a test of Ubuntu Kylin's latest 22.04.1 testing ISO and did not notice this issue - the language changed for me and the keyboard works.

Also ran a test on the latest Jammuy Kylin 22.04.1 -

Selected English(british) language and Icelandic keyboard and no errors encountered.

Here is a short video showing that after I select English (US) and go on to the next screens, it's all still in Chinese. I tried English (UK) too and still it doesn't change. Should I not see the change immediately on the next screen? If the change happens later, when?

In case it matters, here's a longer video starting from the beginning. I did not finish the install past this video point.

Sorry I was wrong. On the first page, I failed to set the language there. I'm so sorry for the spam, it was an honest mistake.
