Since 21.10 I've been getting a Login Loop with both Nvidia and AMD GPUs also when stable the login loop starts to occur both with and without a bunch of software's from the Ubuntu repository gets installed. The login loop keeps happening every time and after login in on lightdm it then goes back to the logon display manager. This seems to affect only the Kylin edition of Ubuntu I haven't had it on vanilla Ubuntu. Also I've noticed in /etc/lightdm/ukui-greeter.conf the DISPLAY option is set as EXTEND aka 3 shouldn't it by default only be defaulted to one monitor and if there's two it should be manually set/changed my system doesn't seem to like the third option in ukui-greeter and prefers ORIG. |
For some reason I've been getting a Login loop problem with the system from the generic releases at releases.ubuntu.com and the same issue is happening on Arch Linux with the UKUI environment with LightDM as the primary display manager this has been happening a lot for awhile both with and without software's installed this also happens with my Laptop without all the bells and whistles installed and after installing the system after the next day login in it then goes back to the display manager constantly. However, on Arch the Login loop has been happening recently with the new UKUI greeter and when /etc/lightdm/ukui-greeter.conf has been edited as well also with the UKUI-greeter the draw-user-background option is missing an s and should be draw-user-backgrounds |
