According to the master bug, this package is the same as mate-common except you replaced every occurrence of "mate" with "ukui"

Why is this needed? Why do we need this duplicate package in Ubuntu?

By the way, gnome-common (the original source that mate-common forked) is deprecated.

Hi, Jeremy, we don't want to just replace the string too, But if we don't fork those packages, Installing UKUI desktop environment will pull the Mate packages. :/

status: New → Invalid
no longer affects: ubuntu
