Bug Description
What: There is a really annoying Javascript bug in the forumdisplay page that prevents the cursor from moving to the search box (like it's coded to) and floods the error console with error messages.
When: Go to any forum on the forumdisplay page and look at your Error Console (Error: $ is not defined). Click the "Search this Forum" (notice how the cursor doesn't move there like it used to (like it should). It looks like it should do some other stuff as well (like formating for IE).
Why: It appears there used to be a Prototype/jQuery style library for the DOM manipulation, but it's been removed. It can quickly be fixed by replacing the use of "$" with the actual DOM or including the appropriate third-party JS library that used to be there.

Wybiral, thank you for reporting this bug. I can confirm that a cursor does not automatically appear in the text box. However, I don't see the message
Error: $ is not defined
except when I try to search for "$". Can you please check again and see if that was something you did after you did the forum search dropdown? Setting Importance, but leaving status as Incomplete. Thanks in advance for your response.
