Bug Description

I'm just looking at the new great website from HP Touchpad (webOS). For fun I clicked 'Download Quickly' button and I got message 'Please wait The package you requested will install shortly.' Obviously nothing has installed. :-) Only message 'cannot open MIME type was displayed.
Anyway, the website is looking great and I hope it'll help Ubuntu succeed.

Maybe, using apt.marcoceppi.com will help in the meantime.

This is not something we can directly fix in the app developer site, so I'm assigning it to Jono to decide how to best triage it, and whether there is a better project in LP to track it.

I've noticed the same problem is with Qt Creator, Eclipse and MonoDevelop. Also temporary fix might be using download button with “on Ubuntu?” note, just like on this page http://developer.ubuntu.com/get-started/

Do we still use "apt://<package>" links somewhere on developer.u.c?

This seems to be unrelated to developer.ubuntu.com, unless I have misunderstood something. Marking as Invalid. If it is valid please reopen with more specific information. Thanks.
