Bug Description

In the list of API at this page
http://developer.ubuntu.com/api/
I can see that Zeitgeist is mentioned in C/C++ section. Zeitgeist has multiple bindings. The one in C/C++ section is also for Vala.

There exists a Python binding too. Can it be added in the Python section for Zeitgeist 0.7.1 (the version of zeitgeist present in Natty)

Sorry for having taken that long to reply. With the new developer site online, we're looking and fixing new and existing bugs.

I'll be happy to add the Zeitgeist documentation. Quick question, though: do you have a link that does not include a specific version number?

Rather than changing the link on every Ubuntu release, I'd prefer to have a link in the style of http://zeitgeist-project.com/development/documentation/stable, so that we just need to set it once.

So, C/C++ is no longer on this list: http://developer.ubuntu.com/api/ so the mention of Zeitgeist may be outdated.

And python is not a core app development language going forward.

The dev portal's core focus is providing information for developing apps and scopes on converged Ubuntu, in which apps are confined (which means the Unity 8 Mir-based Ubuntu available right now only on Devices, not Ubuntu Desktop).

So, does the platform expose an API for zeitgeist (or something related like activity-log-manager) for apps to use? I doubt it since the model is confinement and system services with APIs. Please correct me if I am wrong, of course.

Also, this bug is years old with no real activity.

Therefore, I am marking this Won't Fix for now.
