Materia Theme in Budgie Welcome does not install or takes terribly long and the whole app is blocked (waiting to install the theme)

Hi,

I have also noticed this in 19.10, but somehow, it worked in the end.

I have now waited for 45 Minutes in my VirtualBox 20 04 installation, but the Numix / Materia theme installation did not finish.

In that time, no other installs can be started.

Attempting to close the app, a message "material-materia-theme installation is in progress, please wait for it to finish" appears.

There must be an elegant way to see the progress and / or to close the process without killing it.
